So, despite the lovely heatwave, we’re now back in freezing bitter weather but for a slight reprieve, Jase got to spend a night in one of Manchester’s best venues and regular haunt of his, Rebellion. Tonight’s show should be a sweaty one with Devil Sold His Soul with Forlorn and URNE to support. Sadly Frontierer had to drop out which is pretty gutting, as they’re quite possibly one of the maddest live acts next to Car Bomb.

Since their establishment in 2018, The Coursing has been making their mark in the Southeast music scene. Led by vocalist Dillon Sheets, the band’s music is heavy and aggressive with emotional vocal stylings that reflect on the human condition from pain and suffering to love and happiness. Known for their epic live performances, magic was in the air as fans flocked to the iconic NODA venue for a night filled with the promise of something fantastic.

Melodeath fans rejoice! Mors Principium Est has gone back to the future with their latest release ‘Liberate The Unborn Inhumanity’ now available via AFM Records. Unlike their last album , 2020’s ‘Seven,’ which was recorded by only singer Ville Viljanen with British songwriter Andy Gillion playing all the instruments, the new record is a reunion of sorts. The band has come full circle with a return to their roots and welcoming back to the fold original guitar players and co-founders Jori Haukio and Jarko Kokkoo along with bass player Teemu Heinola, but also moving forward and keeping their focus on the future with the addition of new drummer Marko Tommilo.
