Mike Howe, frontman of Californian metallers Metal Church, has died at the age of 55. He fronted the band between 1988 and 1995, rejoining the line-up in 2015 and appearing on five of their 12 studio albums.

According to the band’s Facebook page, he passed away at his home in Eureka, California yesterday morning (Monday 26 May). His cause of death is not known.
