Florida groove metallers Trivium kicked off their ‘Dead Men And Dragons’ European tour run with back-to-back shows at Dublin University’s The Helix, before heading north to Belfast for the first of their ÜK dates with a triumphant return to the city’s historic Ulster Hall. They brought along Sheffield monsters Malevolence – winners of ÜR’s 2022 ‘Album Of The Year’ poll – for the ride, which resulted in possibly the biggest circle pit generated in the venue’s 200-year old history. We were there to record the onstage action:
The tour continues, with the addition of Heaven Shall Burn, at the O2 Academy in Glasgow on Thursday (12 January), and then two sold-out shows in Birmingham and Manchester on Friday (13) and Saturday (14) respectively, finishing at the O2 Eventim Apollo in London on London on Sunday (15).
Thanks to MCD and James Rollins for facilitating access.
