The first two headliners for Bloodstock 2020’s Sophie Lancaster stage have been announced.
Bloodywood, the New Delhi band who blend Indian folk instruments and heavy metal, will top the bill on the Friday, while Californian death grinders Cattle Decapitation, who release their new album, ‘Death Atlas’, this coming Friday (29 November), will do likewise on the Saturday.
A number of other Sophie stage acts also have been confirmed. post-metal squad Bossk will perform on the Friday, while Birmingham death metal brutes Memoriam will be Saturday’s special guests, with Edinburgh-based prog experimentalists Ramage Inc also appearing earlier the same day. The latest announcement is completed by London psych-doom crew Green Lung, who will be appearing on the Sunday,
Bloodstock directors Adam Gregory and Vicky Hungerford will be taking part in a Facebook Live Q&A tonight (Tuesday 26 November), starting at 7pm. There also will be a special ’20 Days Of Christmas’ series of daily Facebook competitions, starting on 5 December.
