This week features a double winner once more – showcasing the sheer quality of bands sending their videos in to ÜRHQ again and again!
First off, we have New York hardcore legends Life of Agony with ‘Lay Down’, from their forthcoming ‘The Sound Of Scars’ album, which is being released on 11 October. It’s another slice of hardcore crossover from the veteran outfit, with the same bass driven music we have always enjoyed from them – catch a listen here:
Our other winner for the week is the Kris Barras Band. Former cage fighter Kris shouldn’t be a newcomer to any of our ÜR readers – he has appeared on our site a number of times before, most recently just three weeks ago when his last single ‘What You Get’ was included in this very feature. His latest slice of old school blues-rock is the story of the ‘Vegas Son’ and is another sure fire people pleaser that will wash away the current cold snap from your door. With his new album, ‘Light It Up’, dropping this coming week, be sure to catch him on his upcoming tour of the Über Kingdom of Rock ‘n’ Roll…
