The hills are alive to the sound of… heavy metal and zombies! Well, at least in south Wales they are, which is from where the mighty King Kraken serve up this bloody tasty (sic) appetizer for their second album. Always obsessed by horror movies, the Swansea mob have presented us with their own version of the ‘Evil Dead’ movies, filmed in the hills above Pontypridd and featuring a cast of family, friends and even their manager!
Although we’ll have to wait until next April to experience the #MarchOfTheGods in all it’s metallic majesty, the band told us a little more about this advance single:

It’s a throwback to classic horror soundscapes, but we wanted to incorporate our modern rock intensity to make it perfect for fans who love their music with a blood-curdling bite.
King Kraken play the main stage at Planet Rockstock this coming Saturday (30 November), before hosting their annual Christmas party at The Bunkhouse in Swansea on Saturday 14 December. They then tour in April, May and June (although knowing their work ethic more dates will probably be added:
- ‘March Of The Gods‘ will be released in April.
