The ÜR bosses must have enjoyed my first pick, ‘cos they’ve allowed me to have another one… and once again it’s from an act who blew me away (and I actually told them this at the bar) the first time I saw them live, this time when they supported Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton in Bristol last October.
‘Gone Without Warning’ is the latest taster from from the Canadian roots rockers’ next album ‘Restless‘, due for release in these here parts on 5 July. If you like definitive blues-based rock with searing riffs then you will love this track: the riff in the breakdown is fantastic! Having been playing their last album almost constantly since I saw them, it’s about time they brought out some new music.
I am seriously looking forward to seeing these guys at the top of Steelhouse Mountain in July, and they will absolutely love the experience as much as the audience will love them. On this evidence, they won’t be #GoneWithoutWarning anytime soon…
