My latest pick of the pops comes from a young band – and I mean “young” quite literally, as their guitarist is a very tender 14 years of age – who are proving that the future of pop punk is as bright and breezy as a June day here in ÜR’s home city…
Although still in high school and not even old enough to drink at the Singles Club bar, these four teenagers (the other three are positively ancient at an elderly 17 years old each), and obviously with a lot still to learn, Halfway To Neptune display a maturity beyond their years with this incisive and catchy turn which hopefully will not see them burn up too quickly but rather do the same to charts and playlists for some considerable time to come:
