We’ve got just under two weeks left before SikTh – the band who nearly put our very own Dark Queen in A&E a few years back – play special 20th anniversary shows in Manchester and London, and the hype building up at Über Rock HQ for a show like this is getting to the point of bursting!
This is most definitely no ordinary show either, featuring the full original lineup of SikTh, including Justin back on clean vocal duty and a setlist that has been voted on by fans leading up to the show.
So far there’s been a few reveals with big bangers such as ‘Pussyfoot’ and ‘Bland Street Bloom’ confirmed so far via SikTh’s social media channels. It’s pretty clear already that were going to get probably one of the best setlists that SikTh have ever played with material crossing their albums and EP.
Not only that, but they’ve got personal favourites of mine along for the two dates, as Nottingham-based prog metal outfit Palm Reader are in support! If you’ve not heard of these before, do yourself a massive favour and stick ‘Sleepless’ on as soon as you can, it’s a brilliant album!
