Robin George – the AOR heart-throb who enjoyed brief success in the mid-Eighties – has died at the age of 68. He died at his home in Malaga after a long illness.

George will be best remembered for the minor hit ‘Heartline’, which peaked at #68 in the UK charts in 1985, and the album ‘Dangerous Music’, which he had released the previous year. He released a further five solo albums, with another due to be released later this year, and also collaborated with the likes of David Byron, Phil Lynott, Glenn Hughes, Robert Plant and Magnum, among others.

The deepest condolences of everyone at ÜRHQ go out to his wife, children and grand-children.
