Another trip for David O to another of the grassroots venues we feature regularly at Über Rock, The Fleece in Bristol. Dave was surprised by the lack of a queue on arrival as this venue is usually well supported; however, he was rather glad as it got him closer to the front for photography. He was even more surprised to find that Silveroller were on the same bill, having only seen them for the first time the previous week.

This rising Aussie songstress has been on our radar for quite a few years, having been taken under the wing of former Danger Danger mainman Paul Laine around the same time he invited our Dark Queen to live with him on his remote island in the middle of Lake Ontario. Unfortunately for him, DQ was about to marry Monk at the time so had to politely decline his very kind invitation, but fortunately the then 11-year old Cassidy forged a musical partnership that, a little over a decade later, has seen her blossom and emerge from her cocoon into a fully fledged and beautiful rock ‘n’ roll butterfly.
