In a determined bid to prove that it’s not ‘The Final Countdown’ for live shows, Swedish AOR giants Europe have announced not just one but two ÜK festival headline appearances for next summer.
They will top the bill at the Ramblin’ Man Fair on Saturday 17 July, and then again at the Steelhouse Festival eight days later, on Sunday 25 July.
Ramblin’ Man Fair takes place in Maidstone, where Europe will join a line-up which already includes Clutch, who will perform a groundbreaking three sets over the course of the weekend, as well as the likes of Monster Magnet, perennial festival favourites The Quireboys, The New Roses, Big Big Train, Curved Aid, Eric Gale, Samantha Fish and many more across the three days.
The latest announcement from Steelhouse, which takes place at Hafod Y Dafal, outside Ebbw Vale on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, sees Joey Tempest and co join by the newly-reformed Black Spiders and ÜR faves Hands Off Gretel and King Creature, who join a bill that already features Big Four thrash legends Anthrax headlining the Saturday night.
