That’s the case here as they take the short trip back in time to 2009 and the sole album from Michigan’s Harbinger, entitled ‘Doom On You’. Originally released on the Planet Metal label on CD only, here it gets a worthy vinyl release for the first time.

At ÜRHQ, we know that Jonny B easily suckered in by a left-field sounding genre, which is how he came into possession of this particular album bearing a smiling fuscia-coloured planet. All because it declared that it is “fun metal” and, let’s face it, who doesn’t love a bit of fun? Kris E hates when the music industry tosses around the term “supergroup” willy-nilly but in the case of Black Swan the euphemism is actually quite fitting. The band really is made up of a lineup of superstar musicians with lead vocalist Robin McAuley (McAuley Schenker Group), guitarist Reb Beach (Winger/Whitesnake), bass guitarist Jeff Pilson (ex-Dokken/Foreigner), and drummer Matt Starr (Ace Frehley/Mr. Big). Their debut album ‘Shake The World’ did exactly that and the band is now back in all their hard rock glory with a brand new record ‘Generation Mind.’
