Public Service Broadcasting/EERA – Amsterdam, Melkweg – 10 November 2024

Post-rock is one of those genres that on the surface level has a smattering of bands seemingly doing similar stuff right? But then you start to dig deeper and really delve into this world and you find that many bands have fantastically unique elements and Public Service Broadcasting really caught our man Jase W’s attention with their ‘Race To Space’ album: he even managed to catch the anniversary show of it in Wakefield Science Museum no less. So after many years, he got the chance to see them again up the road from where he now lives at Melkweg.

It’s Friday, it’s cold as fuck, but in Melkweg tonight, it’s time to spontaneously grow a fringe and get stuck into some pop punky emo shit so let’s have it. The Story So Far are here on a quick stomp around the ÜK and Europe and fortunately one stop is Amsterdam. Jase W probably should start paying rent here. Along for the ride is melodic hardcore outfit Angel Du$t so it’s a one-two punch of good shit to have a bounce around to this evening and our man has got some great company to really amp up the hype for the evening too.
