Heavy metal legends Saxon have been forced to cancel their remaining 2019 dates – including scheduled shows in Glasgow, London and Manchester.
Legendary vocalist Biff Byford has been diagnosed with a heart condition that requires immediate surgery and a post op recovery period that will last into the new year. We join the rest of the heavy metal community in wishing Biff all the best and a speedy recovery.
Saxon had been due to play Glasgow’s Braehead Arena on 18 October, London’s Eventim Apollo on 19 October and Manchester’s O2 Apollo on 20 October. The London show has been rescheduled for Saturday 28 March and the Manchester one for Sunday 29 March. Details of the rescheduled Glasgow show will be announced soon. All existing tickets will remain valid for new dates and in the case of a required refund please visit point of purchase.
Once again, we send Biff our best wishes and look forward to the Saxon eagle flying high over the Uber Kingdom again next year.
