My first selection of the new Über Rockin’ year appropriately comes from our home turf and sees the highly prolific one man melodic metal machine David Pepper teaming up with a vocalist who will be well known to regular readers, in the shape of Cursed Sun frontman Andrew ‘Jones’ Cassidy for this excerpt from his latest album, which was self-released at the beginning of December.
Under the monicker of Spirit Of Digniti, Lurgan-based Pepper has released something like 15 studio albums, as well as a compilation of film and television score music, over the course of just eight years. ‘Going Deeper To My Soul‘ is his first to feature collaborations with other artists, with other guest appearances by Joe Dirt of gothic death metallers Kraik and drummer Inga Nemeikšytė.
