This is the second single to be lifted from the upcoming third album by the Irish gothic punk artist, and erstwhile ÜR fave, known in real life as Paul Dillon, who describes the song as a fierce anthem for a world at war — a world where faceless generals steal lives, children, and freedom.
He went on to tell me:
The track is dark, urgent, and unrelenting, yet beneath the menace lies defiance: we will stand up, we will resist, we will find our way home.
Speaking about thematic of the album, ‘1 + 1 = 1’, Dillon adds:
