Loud Women logoApplications are now open for acts and artists wanting to play at the 2026 iteration of the Loud Women Festival, to be held in September.

Over the past ten years, LWF has established itself as the leading international showcase for female and non-binary alternative bands and artists. This year’s event will be held at Rich Mix in Shoreditch on 5 September.

Speaking about the invitation to appear at this year’s event, the organizers told me:

Applications are open to all women and non-binary musicians and bands, from any location globally – punk, indie-pop and indie-rock genres preferred but all considered.

Acts are paid, full backline is provided, and bands may sell their own merchandise at the Fest.

In addition, bands playing the festival receive PR support in the run up to the Fest, which usually results in press and radio coverage. Sponsorship and carefully chosen brand partners also support the bands with online promotion and goods.

Applications close on 2 March.

Loud Women also host their annual L.O.V.E. St Valentine’s Day fundraiser, in aid of Resonance FM, and featuring The Schla La Las, Lazy Jane and I, Doris, at the Hope & Anchor in north London on Saturday 14 February. They also host events in Berlin on 22 February and the first Loud Women Hamburg festival on Saturday 28 February.
