Speaking about the album, ‘Metanoia’, which takes its title from the ancient Greek for a transformative change of heart, bassist/vocalist Brenna Leath told us:
Overall, [it] is a profound exploration of the human condition, using powerful imagery and introspective lyrics to invite listeners on a transformative journey. ‘Torche’ sets the tone with its visceral depiction of a primal struggle, using fire and light as symbols of both conflict and illumination.
