Juan Brujo, founder and leader of the Latino-American extreme metal collective Brujeria, has died suddenly at the age of 61.
A statement on the band’s social media sites said that the frontman, also known as “John The Witch”, suffered a heart attack on Monday morning (16 October), following a day off from their current ‘Mexorcista’ tour. The statement said that he was rushed to the nearest hospital but passed away yesterday (Wednesday 18 October).
