Colin Harkness, vocalist and rhythm guitarist with Liverpudlian NWoBHMers Spider, has died.
Formed in 1976, Spider lasted only ten years – but it was a period in which they managed to release three still highlighted regarded albums: 1982’s ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Gypsies’, ‘Rough Justice’ two years later and what turned out to be their farewell, ‘Raise The Banner (For Rock ‘n’ Roll)’ in 1986, the year they split up.
