Both HRH AOR and Hammerfest have been postponed, due to the continuing spread of coronavirus, or COVID-19, across the United Kingdom, where there are now 90 confirmed cases.
The move comes after the Government revealed earlier today (Thursday 5 March) that is was preparing to move to the second, or “delay” phase of its four-point action plan to deal with the virus. This phase could include the banning of large public events, which obviously would include festivals such as HRH.
While there so far has been no official statement from the organizers, Chic Festivals, both the HRH AOR and Hammerfest Facebook pages are stating that the events have been postponed, with ticket holders being advised to check their emails. We will update you with the formal statement when we receive it.
