Belfast is to host its first ever three-day indoor AOR festival next May.

The Bel-AOR Rocks fest will be held at the city’s Mandela Hall over the weekend of 23-25 May, with Michael Monroe making his first ever trip to the island of Ireland to headline the Saturday night. ÜK classic rockers FM are the other confirmed headliners, while the supporting cast will include Scandinavian sleaze rockers Crashdïet and NWoCR veterans Demon.

Renascent Belfast power metallers Stormzone, who are currently putting the finishing touches to their new album, will mark the 20th anniversary of their ‘Caught In The Act’ debut by playing the album in full. They will be joined by Belfast retro rockers Wild Heat and newly formed Irish glam rock revivalists Zürich, who release their debut album early next year.

Tickets for the event go on sale at 9am on Friday (18 October).
