Northern Ireland’s Conjuring Fate swept the board at the annual Irish Metal Awards, announced via a Facebook Live feed earlier this evening, picking up no fewer than four top gongs.

The ÜR-approved Belfast-based quintet were named ‘Irish Band Of The Year’ in a tie with Cork death groovers Arjunas’s Eye. They also scooped the accolades for ‘Album Of The Year’, for ‘Curse Of The Fallen’, and ‘Single Of The Year’, for ‘No Escape’. Kym Horner, wife of CF guitarist Phil Horner, also picked up the award for ‘Best Artwork’.

Among the other award winners were Grey Stag, whose ‘The Boats’ was named ‘EP Of The Year’, the Siege Of Limerick, who made up for having this Easter’s iteration cancelled by being named ‘Festival Of The Year’, DME Promotions (Promoter Of The Year) and Dublin bar Fibber Magee’s (Venue Of The Year).
