It’s back to the same building as the big lad’s previous gig in Mark Lanegan, albeit in a different room of the venue, for an evening of whiplash inducing headbanging and some pretty heavy fucking metal!

Nameless Creations – ‘Upon God’s Call’ (Kill Your Parents Records)

This debut full-length from Poland’s Nameless Creations, released via their own label, inhabits the dark dungeons of gothic noir deathrock, painting a landscape inhabited by drugged-up prostitutes and on-the-run serial killers and delivering a soundtrack that the likes of Eli Roth, Robert Rodriguez or Guillermo del Toro could gleefully visualize in the most nightmarish terms.

Berlin Blackouts – ‘Nastygram Sedition’ (GMM)

While they can’t exactly be accused of prolific – this is only their third album, following on from debut ‘Bonehouse Rendezvous’ back in late 2015 and then ‘Kissed By The Gutter’, released at the arse end of 2016 – Berlin Blackouts will be no strangers to regular ÜR readers, as our former colleague Dom Daley (a man who definitely knows what he is talking about when it comes to all things glunk) positively raved about both releases.
