Tonight’s show took Jase W to a venue he had not been to before (for a gig), having narrowly missed it a while back when Sleep Token had their show upgraded to demand. Lindy-Fay Hella & Dei Farne – ‘Hildring’ (By Norse Music)

Norwegian collective Lindy-Fay Hella (perhaps best known to regular readers from her work with Wardruna) & Dei Farne have their new collaborative album ‘Hildring’ (meaning mirage) arriving on 26 November via the ever impressive By Norse Music imprint. ‘Hildring’ is Lindy-Fay’s second album, following the release of ‘Seafarer’ in 2019 which was released in her own name. This time she has teamed up with musicians Roy Ole Førland, Ingolf Hella Torgersen and Sondre Veland, and with them she has found kindred spirits.

The Mentulls – ‘Recipe For Change’ (ProgBlues Music)

The Mentulls have just released their third album, ‘Recipe For Change’ via ProgBlues Music. This album has been four years in the making and like many artists, being on lockdown provided extra time to get creative and start recording.  For these ÜK rockers, it’s the first to feature vocalist and multi-instrumentalist David Neil Crabtree, alongside founder members and brothers Andrew and Jamie Pipe who play guitar and keyboards respectively.
