Mark Sheehan, guitarist with Irish indie rockers The Script, has died after a short illness.
He was 46 years old.
Announcing his passing on their Facebook page, his fellow band members described Sheehan as a “much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend”.
The Script are due to support p!nk on her five-date stadium tour at the beginning of June. At this stage, it is unclear if these dates will go ahead as planned.
