The Uber Rock Approved stampWe continue to receive a veritable tsunami of video clips – almost 200 of them in the past week alone – being sent our way in a bid to be the latest recipient of the coveted title and virtual gong of being named our favourite…

Believe me, we do watch all of the submissions, and, apart from those which don’t meet our criteria – i.e., no lyric videos, no straight performance clips and no “playthroughs” – most of them are of an extremely high quality, but there can only ever be one winner… And, to that end, this week’s selection comes from Floridian ska punk legends Less Than Jake, with their brilliantly – and hilariously – realized homage to their good friend, NoFX frontman (and Fat Wreckords label boss) Fat Mike.

Bassist Roger Lima told us a bit more about the song, the latest single to be lifted from their excellent ‘Silver Linings’ album:

“Just having fun with it! Fat Mike is a great friend and we are all fans of NoFX. This song came together over a few jam sessions and we recorded it without too much overthinking. Hopefully, everyone finds the humour in this track – and remember kids, don’t do drugs!”

Watch out for (virtual) cameos from the likes of Keith Richards, Ozzy and David Hasselhoff in this gloriously funny clip which definitely will put a smile on your face and a spring in your two-step as it bangs its way into both your aural and visual cortexes:
