Artwork for Drinks 'n' Nibbles' by StocksnskinsWell, after listening to this, I am very confused and feeling somewhat self-conscious about the size of my refrigerator. This is unlike anything I have ever heard before and, at first, I did not really know what to make of it. After listening to it for a bit, though, turns out I really like it. Even if I’m still not entirely sure what to make of it.

The vocals are more of a spoken word poetry rather than traditional singing. The lyrics are what really threw me through a loop. The first two tracks make no sense to me. I have no idea what they are trying to say. The third track makes a lot more sense even if it is still rather confusing. Everything just jumps all over the place and sounds more like a random string of consciousness than lyrics. It makes for a very interesting experience.

I am also unsure what genre to class the music as. It almost reminds me of ambient EDM maybe? Especially in ‘2 Birds’ but that really is not a truly accurate description. Honestly, it is something that would be best for you to experience for yourself to really understand. I am sure there is a name for it but I just don’t know it and truthfully I would not even know how to look it up as it is so far out of my realm of experience.

While this is not something that I would have sought out for myself I really enjoyed the ride. Like I said before I have never heard anything like this before so I don’t know anyone that I can think of that this would be targeted at. That being said, I absolutely think this is worth checking out. It is definitely an experience worth having. Honestly, I would like to hear more.
