Welsh superstars on the rise Those Damn Crows and the ever colourful Ginger Wildheart will be returning to the top of the mountain this summer, as they lead the final round of announcements for the 2023 iteraion of Europe’s highest festival, Steelhouse.

The Crows will fly in from their nearby Valleys roost to appear as special guests to Airbourne on the Saturday, while Ginger will be bringing his bunch of rock ‘n’ roll Sinners to the kick off the mountaintop party on the Friday evening. Joined by former Revival Black/Myke Gray vocalist, Dan Byrne, slide maestro Troy Redfern and Brussels-based rockers, Black Mirrors, they complete an already stoked line-up that sees Black Stone Cherry headline the Sunday night, and Steelhouse faves such as the re-united The Answer, the Kris Barras Band, Florence Black and Kira Mac return to Hafod-y-Dafal farm over the last weekend in July.

Talking about their Saturday special guest appearance, Those Damn Crows lead vocalist Shane Greenhall told us:

We can’t tell you how stoked and happy we are to announce that us Crows will be making our way back up the mountain to play our favourite festival! Everyone knows how much Steelhouse means to us, so go get those tickets and get ready, as we’ll be bringing our brand-new Crow-show to the SH stage to add to the already incredible line up this year!!

We Are THOSE… DAMN… CROOOOOOWS!! Let’s go Steelhouse!

Speaking of his appearance with The Sinners, Ginger Wildheart proclaimed:

Chuffed as fuck to be playing my favourite festival. Can’t wait to bring me and The Sinners’ good time brand of rock n roll to the Steelhouse crowd. This’ll be a match made in heaven. Smiles guaranteed.

Steelhouse promoters, Mikey and Max said:

This is it, the final five for 2023. And it’s with no small amount of satisfaction that we welcome back our fellow countrymen and very good friends, Those Damn Crows. We have an almost paternal pride for them, seeing them go from an opening slot, rise through the ranks, go from clubs to arenas, to the point where, as far as Steelhouse is concerned, there’s only one more spot to claim… That’s for future glories… Until then, Those Damn Crows followed by headliners, Airbourne makes for a full-tilt Steelhouse Saturday.

And there’s always room on our bill for Ginger Wildheart… A personal musical hero of ours and one of the greatest British songwriters of our time. This time he’s bringing The Sinners… That’s a Friday-night party, right there…

Remaining tickets for Steelhouse weekend – and let’s face it, you wanna be there for all three nights – are available HERE.
