Updated ArcTanGent festival posterA beloved fixture of the summer festival circuit, ArcTanGent has grown again today with the announcement that Chelsea Wolfe will be joining headliners Swans and Opeth at this year’s festival, headlining the Thursday night of the Bristol-based event. Due to tour the UK in a couple of weeks, Chelsea Wolfe has earned massive acclaim for her immersive, dark soundscapes that incorporate everything from doom and folk to electronica and goth.

Joining Chelsea Wolfe are US post-rockers Caspian, fellow darkness-inclined songwriter Emma Ruth Rundle, prog metallers Intronaut, post-rock instrumentalists Talons, post-everything maverick Arabrot, prog metal newcomers Wheel and a very special collaborative set between Bell Witch and Aerial Ruin (among many others). Stacking the line-up with the very best acts in the worlds of prog, tech and alternative, ArcTanGent is beloved in the UK for its commitment to crafting diverse, unique line-ups that comprise the bleeding edge of the rock and metal world.

The 2020 event already featured top tier acts including Opeth, Tesseract, Ihsahn, Perturbator and The World Is A Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, so this latest announcement has further built on an already incredibly stacked bill. The festival runs from Thursday 20 August to Sunday 23 August, and is held at Fernhill Farm, just outside Bristol.

Tickets for 2020 are on-sale now and come with a variety of booking options, including Buy Now Pay Later options, day and weekend tickets and joint packages with sister festivals like TechFest and 2000 Trees. Tickets are expected to sell out, so get yours ASAP!
