We’re finally starting to see a smattering of festivals come out swinging with their first lineup drops for 2026. For myself, I’m a huge fan of ArcTanGent – and next August’s weekender is already looking pretty damn tasty!

The first drop features not one, not two but FIVE ÜK exclusive appearances, from Igorrr, Alcest, Perturbator, Oathbreaker and Agent Fresco, the latter playing their first live show in seven years, as are math rockers TTNG. And all of this without a single headliner being named yet!

Among the other highlights announced today are a special show from Heck, who are reforming for the  tenth anniversary show of ‘Instructions’, Humanfly reforming for the first show in 13 years, Town Portal, Shearling, Michael Cera Palin and more. After last years huge Silent Disco success, Amplifier will be doing a special live silent disco set.

Some of the Wednesday lineup has also been revealed and includes the soon-to-be-no-more post-hardcore proponents Svalbard (in what will be their final festival show), French post-rockers Lost In Kiev and math rock from Alpha Male Tea Party, whose recently released album ‘Reptilian Brain’ is surely one of 2025’s best in class.

Speaking of the festival, organizer James Scarlett says:

The demand for ArcTanGent 2026 tickets has truly been unprecedented, with over half our tickets sold in the first 2 weeks of them being on sale. Fans will have to wait a little bit longer before we can announce our headliners, but we’re so excited for the exclusives, reformations and special sets we’ve already cooked up. Early bird tickets are running low so if you want to lock in for another vintage ArcTanGent, don’t sleep!

It’s absolutely unreal stuff. If you enjoy your leftfield music acts then this is already something you cannot afford to miss.

  • ArcTanGent takes place over the weekend of 19-22 August.
