Not content with doing one trip to the far reaches of the Netherlands this week Jase W was doing another trip to Nijmegen for a night of fat bass and gothy electronic synthwave music. If that description doesn’t hit at least one of the two artists that exist within this niche then for clarity, he’s talking about Perturbator. Along for the ride on this tour are Kælan Mikla and GOST, both of which our man reckons are fantastic additions to a show like this.

It seems Jase W is visiting all the venues he’s never been to before this month and in this case as rather than being at the infamous 013 venue in Tilburg, he’s treading new ground at Hall Of Fame. Not only that but a double bill of bands he’s found through friends at festivals such as RADAR and ArcTanGent, in this case it’s Vower and Giant Walker. It’s fantastic that bands such as these are jumping across the channel to give the mainlanders a dose of brilliantly proggy metal from old Blighty, so as if our man in Europe would pass off a chance like this even if it is at the other end of the country.
