This week, I am keeping my ‘Video Of The Week’ choice unashamedly on my home soil, with ‘Whiskey Lover’, the latest single from Belfast’s own Maverick, extracted from their recently-released second album, ‘Big Red’.
I’ve chosen it for one reason (well, apart from the fact that it’s a damn fine song) – it shows what we do be in this part of the Uberverse… drinkin’, pissin’ and partyin’ \m/
Maverick play one of Uber Rock’s favourite venues, the Diamond Rock Club in the otherwise pretty little village of Ahoghill (well, it has just won an award for its rather snazzy flowerbeds) on Saturday 15 October.
