Chosen by Monk
These renascent Eighties psych punks recently broke a three decade long silence by proving that they were among the ranks of those who have too much to say with the release of their first album in more than 30 years, proving that they can be with us any time they want:
Commenting on the latest track to be extracted from the album, front man Brian O’Brien says:
‘I Could Be With You’ is a love song lamenting a lost lover and a town I loved and missed so well — home of the mighty Alex, the railway town in the North West of England: Crewe, Cheshire.
This song, most unusually for us, actually has a happy ending.
