After leaving the airwaves under a cloud in March of 2015, the notorious audio gold peddlers Gaz Tidey, Johnny H, and Rob Watkins returned to the BRfm studios for a one-off Christmas special; a two-hour show that would serve as a review of a truly great year for music, and a proper goodbye to the eleventeen loyal listeners of The Uber Rock Radio Show.
Broadcast on the night of December 23rd, 2015, the seemingly long-lost Episode 60 went off without a hitch, the six-legged Uber Rock Radio beast lumbering off into the Brynmawr sunset (kinda) with, finally, a little kickass closure.
All the beloved regular features from the previous 59 shows made welcome reappearances: Watkins’s Tune; Kokk Rokk O’Klokk; Uber Rock’s Big Issue; The Kickass Kover Korner; The Manowar Minute; The Saxon Six Seconds; The Loverboy ‘Leven Seconds; Twenty Seconds of Tredegar; The Nugent Nine Seconds; The Scorpions Seven Seconds – every one a winner… ish.
