Episode 56 of The Uber Rock Radio Show was broadcast live under a full moon so something was sure to go crazy – turns out it was the show’s playlist, with songs going Shergar, never to be seen again. The six-legged UR radio machine brushed off the minor complication and carried on with another idiotic chapter in radio history.

There was new music from choice glunk rockers Prima Donna and The Disconnects, Italian industrial/electro crossover crew Dope Stars Inc., and Jesse Malin. Sham 69 and the Happy Mondays got reworked by Sick Of It All and Manic Street Preachers respectively in the Kick-Ass Cover Corner, while the clock struck Kokk Rokk O’Klokk somewhere in Boston around midnight.

It was also a day of anniversaries with a trio of uber-approved legends getting remembered: it was Alice Cooper’s birthday, the anniversary of The Cramps’ Lux Interior’s death, and thirty-nine years to the day of the release of the groundbreaking self-titled debut album from the Ramones – expect to hear them all!

How do you hear them, I hear you cry? Why, by clicking on the banners below – the Black Banner for the show’s first hour, the Red Bannner for hour two.
