Gary Brooker, founder of British progressive rock legends Procul Harum, has died at the age of 76. He had been battling cancer.
Brooker formed Procul Harum in 1966, achieving global prominence with the single ‘A Whiter Shade Of Pale’ the following year. Prior to his death, he was the only constant member of the band.
