Algy Ward, frontman of NWoBHM legends Tank and former bassist with The Damned, has died at the age of 63.
He started his career with Australian punks The Saints before moving to the ÜK to join The Damned, with whom he recorded the seminal ‘Machine Gun Etiquette’.
He then went on to form Tank, regarded to this very day as one of the driving forces (sic) of the NWoBHM movement.
