Ace Finchum, drummer in the classic line-up of Welsh glam rock legends Tigertailz, has died at the age of 62.
Finchum joined Tigertailz in late 1984, replacing original drummer Ian Welch, and played on the band’s first two albums, 1987’s ‘Young And Crazy’ and 1990’s ‘Bezerk’, as well as the Japanese compilation ‘Banzai!’. He left the band following the latter’s release in 1991, rejoining briefly between 2011 and 2013.
Finchum also played in AOR band Marseille and NWoBHM stalwarts Tokyo Blade.
