Ricky Warwick has been a busy man of late. Currently out on the road promoting the second album from Black Star Riders, he also found time during the recording of ‘The Killer Instinct’ to put together two solo albums and oversee the re-issue of two classic The Almighty offerings to boot.
However, while most media attention has been on Black Star Riders, UBERROCK TV’s Mark Ashby persuaded Warwick to take time out of his busy schedule to meet up on a return visit to his native Northern Ireland to talk about the aforesaid solo albums. Conducted back stage at the historic Ulster Hall, the interview delves deep into the influences behind this superb collection of material, and why he chose to go down the PledgeMusic route. The singer also introduced us to his long-time friend and collaborator Sam Robinson, who added invaluable and exclusive insight into some of the songs, and reveals what the future holds for him as a solo artist…
