Updated Bloodstock 2026 posterIt’s no tricks just treats, heavy metal style, as Bloodstock marks the run up to Halloween with a fiendishly fiery announcement of ten devilish new attractions for next August’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

Joining headliners Judas Priest and the recently-announced Body Count on Sunday’s main stage will be the Zakk Wylde fronted Black Label Society, while deathcore dealers Fit For An Autopsy will lay down their brand of brutality on the Friday afternoon.

Over on the Sophie Lancaster Stage, Mantis Defeats Jaguar once again will make the short trip from Birmingham to join in the opening Thursday night party. Sanguine-soaked black metallers Blood Countess and party sludge noiseniks Gurt will lay it down on the Friday, while Outergods will darken the Saturday afternoon skies with their blackened deathgrind.

Rounding off the latest announcement, and the weekend, abrasive blues/doom punks Noisepicker, stoner doomsters Alunah, death/thrash beasts Flayed Disciple and Norwich doom trio Acid Throne have all been added to the second stage’s Sunday running order.

  • Bloodstock 25 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire, over the weekend of 6-9 August.
