When reborn NWOBHM legends Diamond Head pulled into Belfast for the second time in just over 18 months – this time in support of their newly-released (and quite superb) self-titled “comeback” album – Uber Rock took the chance to catch up with band founder and producer of some of the most seminal guitar riffs of all time, the one and only Mr Brian Tatler, to discuss the band’s renaissance, the “Metallica factor”, how they are appealing to a whole new generation of fans and how it looks like, almost 40 years into their storied career, they might finally be breaking the good ol’ USofA…
