It came as little surprise to Jase W that an album from Pelagic Records landed in his lap, given how many of their artists he talks about (at length) in a lot of his gig reviews and to people in general, Playgrounded are another solid example here of the atmospheric and almost avant-garde type of artists that Pelagic keep in their roster.

After a bad day of rugby for Wales and a good day for Ireland and France, it was the opportunity for David O’Neill to cheer himself up by getting along to the Patriot two days after St Patrick’s Day to see a son of Ireland who might know a thing or two about playing a stringed instrument. He’ll confess UR boss Monk had to educate him,as Mama’s Boys were unknown to him, so he guesses he was a bit of an “eejit” until a few weeks ago.
