Uber Rock Introduces… Knelt Before

The name Knelt Before may be so new on the scene that their Facebook page was only set up in July and has just three followers. But, we at ÜRHQ have a feeling that is about to change, and drastically, with the self-styled PMA hardcore quartet’s just released debut album, ‘Be Nice’. Another night, another foray back into the world of gigs for DJ Astrocreep. Once again the big man headed across to Manchester, this time to take in the dual delights of Dead Space Chamber Music and HackeDePiciotto. While both acts, as they are, were new to him, Alexander Hacke has long been a musical muse of his, with his work in, amongst others, Einsturzende Neubaten, the German industrial/low wave group. Perturbator/HEALTH – Manchester, Academy 2 – 16 November 2022

Evidently, Jase W absolutely zero sympathy for his own levels of exhaustion as he had just got back from a week away in the Netherlands and followed it up with an evening of mind blisteringly heavy darksynth. Perturbator’s delayed ‘Excess’ tour is finally here with HEALTH, who blew our resident gigaholic away earlier this year at Manchester’s White Hotel, in support. Sadly for the ÜK leg of the tour, Author & Punisher will not be joining which Jase was a bit gutted about – but he can’t have it his way all the time we suppose!
