The BIG Über Rock Interview: Marco Mendoza (The Dead Daisies)

The Dead Daisies have just kicked off the European leg of their promo tour in support of their latest album, the excellent ‘Burn It Down’, which proved that this particular “supergroup” are no flash in the pan vanity project but a serious rock ‘n’ roll act in their own right, capable of laying down some serious tunes and ripping up venues simultaneously, as shown during their visit to the Über Kingdom of Rock ‘n’f’n’ Roll.

 

I caught up with my old friend, TDD bassist Marco Mendoza back stage at the Manchester showfor a quick update on the album, the new line-up and subtle change in direction and his usual erudite comments on all things TDD, and music biz related:

The Dead Daisies return to the Über Kingdom of Rock ‘n’ Roll to play the following dates:

 

Friday 27 – Holmfirth, The Picturedrome

Saturday 28 – Pentrich, Rock ‘n’ Blues Custom Show

Sunday 29 – Steelhouse Festival
