1.) What are your most vivid childhood memories of Halloween?

I think it was when I was around 6 years old I bought a talking zombie head called Rude Ralph. I still have him!!!!

2.) Why do you think that the worlds of horror and metal/punk have always been so closely linked?

Of course, Black Sabbath are the first heavy metal band and very very Horror Influenced. In fact the song ‘Black Sabbath’ is about a haunting…

3.) Has there been a horror remake yet that has bettered the original movie?

Nope and there never will be!

4.) What’s the greatest ever horror movie kill?

Wow, that’s a tough one, I’m more into vintage B-movies and the silent horrors so there is no real kill scences, but I do like when the Creature from the Black Lagoon went on his rampage!

5.) Who is the baddest ever horror movie villain…and why?

I’m not sure if you would call him a villian but the best character ever in a Horror is Jack Torrance – The Shining.

6.) Who is the greatest ever Scream Queen?

Mrs. Voorhees! Plain and simple!

7.) Name your Top 5 favourite horror movies of all time…and tell us why!!

1.] Creature from the Black Lagoon – My most favourite film in this genre! So cheesy and in the day terrifying!

2.] The Shining – Jack Nicholson, enough said.

3.] Misery – Kathy Bates gave me nightmares for weeks as a kid.

4.] IT – Please NEVER remake this! I heard rumours it’s on the cards…

5.] Idol Hands – A classic B-movie. Cheesy, ridiculous and very very funny.

8.) What underrated horror movie would you recommend to our readers just in case they have never seen it?

The Orphan was a very smart thriller/horror. In a world of remakes and over the top ideas, it’s a refreshing change with a killer twist.

9.) What is your guilty pleasure, the trashy horror flick that you hold dear but everyone else runs away from?

Well, it’s not a trashy horror flick but Laurel and Hardy’s A-Haunting We Will Go is sooooo funny, trying to do effects in 1942! You can see the string !!!

10.) What is the greatest ever horror movie poster?

The Blob! What a silly idea and the poster just sums the film up, but yet again the Shining is great, but over used.

11.) Have you ever had a ghostly supernatural experience?

Oh yes, I worked/lived in a pub that used to be a hunting lodge for Henry the 8th. It was very haunted; they used to attack chairs on tables late at night and I had an electric fan thrown at me! I placed it upstairs and as I walked down the stairs it followed me…..

12.) What ‘star’ of the music world would you like to see slaughtered in gory horror movie style?

One Direction. If they continue to be compared to the Beatles then I will do it myself!

13.) What are your plans for Halloween this year?

We are playing in Worcester (Pig’N’Drum) on the 30th with Lupen Tooth and on Halloween itself we are rocking the Zombie Hut in Corby with the mighty Graveyard Johnnys.
