So, here we are, batterin’ and breezin’, poundin’ ‘n’ pummellin’, stompin’ ‘n’ strollin’ our way deep into the dirty heart and soul of another busy rockin’ ‘n’ rollin’ month here in the Überverse… We’ve the death decks fully cranked up, and the amps set so loud that the Trumpinator is threatening to declare them a weapon of mass distraction and launch a tactical strike on the dank back alleys of Belfast… but, we know he secretly struts around the Oval Office in his tightest orange spandex, bangin’ along to each and every playlist, so we invite you to join him (and us) grab a chilled beer or three, settle into your favourite studded leather armchair and enjoy our latest selection of the hottest aural delights to have come our way over the past seven days:
Arren ‘Thinking About July’ (Self-Released)
The Dublin-based pop rocker, who is currently in the middle of a run of dates around the island of Ireland, is not only looking forward to the summer, such as it might be, but also the release of his debut album, from which we kick off this week’s playlist with the lead offering:

The Colombian symphonic power metallers challenge the illusion of certainty with the first extract from their upcoming second album:

These old-school Ohio thrashers will prove that they’re ‘Ready To Strike’ when they release their latest EP at the end of August – and also when they blast their way through the Über Kingdom on a run of dates in mid-July:
Tooth Gore ‘Scum Of The Sea’ (Self-Released)
With a monicker that sounds more like that for a Czechian grindcore act, Cornish surf punk provocateur Kobi Joe once again takes to the waves with this first taste of a planned third album:
Triple Lutz ‘Don’t Wake Daddy’ (SBÄM Records)
We sign off this edition with the second taster of the upcoming debut album from the “half queer, half femme, half blad Tonya Harding-core” Oregon punk quartet, which will see them ‘In The Hands Of An Angry Mob‘ at the end of June:
