Speaking about the song, guitarist Bill Satcher told us:

About the new album, Satcher adds:
We approached this album intent on refocusing our creative energies and inspirations. Something inside was calling us to dig deeper and tell our stories in the most raw and truthful way possible.
We quickly found that with the lyrics we were writing, the riffs and music needed to be heavier to convey the new emotional territory we were covering and’ Voices’ serves as the perfect statement of intent.
