More bands have been confirmed for Belfast’s first indoor multi-day classic rock festival next May.
Welsh powerhouse Chez Kane has been added to the Saturday bill, which will be headlined by Michael Monroe, making his first ever visit to the island of Ireland, while The Pat McManus Band will perform an exclusive Mama’s Boys set. They join Swedish sleazesters Crashdïet, NWoBHM legends Demon, Belfast power metal veterans Stormzone, who will be debuting their new line-up and performing their debut ‘Caught In The Act’ album in its entirety, and newly formed Dublin glam exponents Zürich.
The Scandinavian invasion will continue with Swedish glunksters Crazy Lixx, who will join previously announced Sunday headliners FM.The final day’s bill will now also include Grand Slam and Mark Stanway’s Kingdom Of Madness, while Belfast’s own No Hot Ashes will make their first live appearance since the death of drummer Steve Strange. The Sunday will be opened by ÜR faves Wild Heat, with more bands to be announced early in the new year.
With the opening Friday night consisting exclusively of tribute bands, Bel-AOR takes place at the Mandela Hall over the weekend of 23-25 May. Tickets are on sale now.
